This monument you can find on Kontraktova square. Petro Sahaidachnyi, the famous Ukrainian Hetman, is sitting on top of a horse, dressed in a typical clothing of zaporozhian cossacks. The famous Ukrainian figure won battles during the Polish-Turkish war of 1621 fighting against Krimean Tatars and Turks.
