The Golden Gates of Kiev is a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev and historic gateway in the ancient city fortress, located in the capital of Ukraine. Mikhail Bulgakov was a Soviet writer of the 20th century. He is well known for his novel The Master and Margarita, which The Times of London called one of the masterpieces of the 20th century. The monument is right next to the Bulgakov’s museum.
